Harold graduated from Poca High School and served in the US Army. He retired from C & H Taxi 27 years ago where he was a manager over the drivers.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Lea, brother, Ronald Shamblin, sisters, Peggy Wade and Betty Martin.
Harold is survived by his loving family, son, Scott and Beverly Shamblin, of Cross Lanes, grandson, Zachary Shamblin, of Huntington, and brother, Clinton “Max” and Bonnie, of Cross Lanes, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Harold was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be dearly missed.
A Celebration of Harold’s life will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Wise officiating. Military graveside rites will follow conducted by St Albans VFW Post 6418 and American Legion Post 73.
Gathering of family and friends will be from 10 until time of service at the funeral home.
