He was born April 12, 1933 in Charleston, the son of Wayne and Beulah Coulter Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Euneva Kessell, Erna Johnny Jones, Pamela Fisher, Betty Boggess, Judith Ilene Bibb, and brother Harold Miller.
He was known as Bub Miller to most and worked the Millers Radiator Shop for over 55 years, and retired from Union Carbide/Bayer after 23 years of service. Bub was a US Army Veteran.
He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Mary Frances Miller, children, Larry Miller (Brenda), Jackie Miller Thomas (Randy), and Terry Miller (Carol), sister Penny Sue Lunsford (Kenzie), and brother Wallace Miller (Virginia), grandchildren, Justin D. Miller (Cara), Jon Thomas (Katie), Jeremy Thomas (Jessica), Enocha Thomas, Samantha Miller (Cam), Dylan Miller (Whitney), 9 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren, and one on the way.
Celebration of Bub’s life will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Tyler Mt. Funeral Home with Celebrant HR Whittington presiding.
Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until time of service at the funeral home.
