Dorothy Louise Doss, 88, of Nitro passed away January 13, 2019 at CAMC General after a short illness.
Dorothy was born January 1, 1931 in Hurricane, to the late Beulah Meadows and Theodore Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Herbert Doss.
Dorothy enjoyed gardening, quilting and playing her guitar with her family at church. Dorothy especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a factory worker at FMC with 3 years of service, she helped several people with in home care, and managed 7-eleven in Nitro.
Left to cherish her memory are loving children, Dottie Rutledge and Wanda Sowards both of Teays Valley, and Herb Doss of Nitro; brother, Carroll Taylor of Milton; grandchildren, David, Robin, Jessie, Kimberly, Wade, and Stephen; and numerous great-grandchildren.
