Christine Elizabeth Claytor, daughter of Andrea Claytor and the late Howard Cookie Claytor Jr. was born in South Charleston on May 16, 1963 and passed away July 5, 2017. She was a graduate of St. Albans High School and attended W. Va. State University for one year. Christine was an employee of Behavioral Health Solution where she worked as a caregiver. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. In addition to her father, Christine was also preceded in death by her daughter, Trista Lark. In addition to her mother, survivors who are left to cherish her memory include daughter, Nyasha Claytor of Nitro, brother, Howard Cookie Claytor III (MaryAnn) of St. Albans, Sherry Williams (Shawn) and Barbara Claytor of South Charleston; a very special companion, Walter Armstrong; and lots of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Christine’s life will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 15, 2017 at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, B Street, St. Albans with Pastor Mike Poke officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans is assisting the Claytor family with arrangements.
