Born April 2, 1937 in Lewistown to Edward and Iva (Deal) Snyder, she married James R. Wyatt on October 12, 1957 in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Vickie Hollister of Grand Prairie, Texas and Karen Perry of Brookston, Indiana; six grandchildren, Tracy (David) Cmar of Grand Prairie, Texas, Courtney (Anthony) Williams of Yorktown, Indiana, Chris (Brittany) Perry of Brookston, Indiana, Duane Connett of Peoria, Tony Connett of Bloomington and Paul Connett of Elmwood; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Kenneth Mounts of Creve Coeur; two sisters, Sharon Gilbert and Mary Ann (David Cox) Mounts, both of East Peoria and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, James Michael Wyatt; one daughter, Barbara Connett; two brothers, Bobby Mounts and Bill Snyder and one sister, Carol Turk.
Patsy worked part-time at OSF St. Francis for more than 15 years, last working in Human Resources.
She was devoted to her husband and loved traveling together. Playing with her great-grandkids also gave her great joy. She formerly enjoyed golfing and playing cards.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Morton and a former member of Sacre Coeur Catholic Church in Creve Coeur, where she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society.
Her funeral will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Monsignor Gerald Ward will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin.
