Born July 8, 1945 in Peoria to Sherman and Ruth (Jury) Stetson, she married Leonard Hulslander. They later divorced.
Surviving are two sons, Ted (Stacy) Hulslander of Creve Coeur and Chris (Paula) Hulslander of Neponset; six grandchildren, Heidi Smith of Peoria, Chelsea (Ethan) Fischer and Chad (McKenzie) Maneno, both of Pekin, Tara Cravens of Neponset, Katie Cravens and Nicholas (Reannah) Cravens of Belgium; six great-grandchildren, Jameson, Killian, Nicholas, Camden, Coral and Kaibree.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one great-grandson, Nicholas Cravens and one sister, Sandy Mercer.
Nancy had worked as a librarian at Neponset Public Library for more than 30 years before retiring.
She loved reading to the kids at the library and volunteering at the Kewanee Animal Shelter.
She attended Neponset Congregational Church.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date.
