She was born August 14, 1932 in Spencer, Iowa to Fredrick and Florence (Rose) Lane. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings. Jane was the last of her generation.
Surviving are one daughter, Sarah Rouse of Creve Coeur; one son, Larry Rouse of Missouri; three grandchildren, Mary Ann Dains, Michael Rouse and Thomas Rouse and one great-granddaughter, Stella Dains.
Jane had worked a variety of jobs that included bartending, working in retail and at the local laundromat. She also worked as a CNA at various locations, including St. Joseph Nursing Home in West Peoria.
She loved spending time with family and friends and going out to eat. She loved hamburgers, grilled cheese and ice cream, especially banana splits.
No services are scheduled. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
