Our sympathy in the loss of Gene. 
Ronnie worked with Gene for many years at both the Wallace and Edwards station. Gene was fun to work with and always willing to participate  in practical jokes on fellow workers.  Ronnie will always remember the time Gene came to our house to check the wiring on the new air conditioner that Ronnie had installed. Gene informed Ronnie that he had actually wired the air conditioner (220 volt) live, and that Ronnie was a lucky “so and so” to-still be alive!!!!
Gene was a good friend and will be missed!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you on your loss. I worked for Gene at Edwards Station in the electrical Dept. He was not only a great boss but a great Mentor. He may be gone but never forgotten!

Rita and family,

For many years I worked at my grandpa’s hardware store (Ehrett’s) in Creve Coeur.  I had the privilege of meeting and getting to know Gene during my time there.  He was a wonderful person and always had something clever or funny to say when he would stop in.  I always looked forward to seeing him walk through the front door.  I’m so very sorry for your loss and I wish you all the very best.

Our deepest sympathy to all.  Gene was a pleasure to know and we always had a great conversation when our paths crossed.  The last time I saw him was at Costco where we shared a picnic table while our spouses shopped and got caught up with what had been happening since the last time we saw each other.  He will certainly be missed.

Gene and Rita have  been my neighbor for over 50 years or more, Gene and my husband work together at Cilco  for many year, so will miss both of then since Rita has moved to nursing home . Prayers for the family.

So sorry for your loss. Gene was a great neighbor and friend. He will be missed by many!

We were backyard neighbors for many, many years. My Mom was the other Rita in the neighborhood. We had great fun playing across the fence with Gene’s kids.
He was a very kind man and this world is a sadder place without him.

My dad was my favorite fishing partner. We spent many weeks in Wisconsin fishing. He usually always out fished me. Had a lot more patience than I did.

Gene was a man of genuine character.  He loved his family unconditionally.  Praying God's comfort over this special family.  I miss you Gene but you are finally Home.
