Beloved son, brother, nephew and friend of many, Stephen passed away at home. He was known for his brilliant smile, contagious laugh, and his unwavering loyalty and protection of those he loved. If you earned a place of respect and love in his life, Stephen would do anything for you.
He earned his GED, took a number of college classes as well as a few online courses. His interests were wide, and his ability to learn and apply his knowledge remarkable.
He loved family first, friends a close second and music. He played drums, guitar and vocals throughout his life. Dabbling in various sports and 4H as a child, he settled on Heavy Equipment Operating as a career, working at various construction companies over his adult life.
Loving the outdoors, fishing, concerts, bonfires and his friends; he enjoyed much in his limited time on Earth. Stephen would not want people to be sad, but to celebrate the time that they had gotten to be part of his life. He loved his mother and brother at the deepest of levels. He will be tremendously missed by all that knew and loved him.
Stephen was preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides, cousins Nikki and Patrick, and his father Dennis Otis Jr. He is survived by his mother Wendy (Otis) Taylor (Ted), brother Logan Otis, Aunt Judi Barr (Mike), Aunt Jenny Campos (daughter Avalon), Uncle Mike Campos, Uncle Dennis Otis, (Aunt Meredith (Marv) Murray, cousins Brandon Murray (Jessica, daughters Renae and Laney) and Colton Murray, step sisters Chyanne Obie (son Malak), Elizabeth Taylor (daughters Natalie and Emma Keating).
