Robert Lawrence Parr was born August 15, 1956 in Pueblo, the son of Robert and Jeanine Parr. He attended schools in Pueblo and graduated from Pueblo Central High School. He married his high school sweetheart Terry Cross on December 12, 1974 and the couple moved to Craig in 1978 and raised a family.
Bob was employed by Moffat County and had held previous positions at ColoWyo Coal and with area trucking companies. He was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman and enjoyed spending time with family around the campfire, telling stories and sharing laughs. Bob also enjoyed motorcycles, street and dirt, and was an Enduro racer in his younger days. When his racing days passed, he began travels to Sturgis, SD to participate in the bike rally. However, he remained a racing fan, following NASCAR and travelling to Las Vegas Speedway to follow the action.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his daughter Becky. Bob is survived by his loving wife Terry Parr, daughter Maggi Corpuz (David) of Denver, daughter Sandy Richardson (Jamie) of Fruita, and daughter Leila Rinker of Fort Myers, FL; Brothers Gary and Dennis and sister Cheryl and grandchildren Zoe, Rilee, Lilly, Benjamin and Katherine.
An open house honoring Bob will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. November 3, 2022 at Grant Mortuary in Craig. Family, friends and co-workers are welcome to attend. Following cremation, his remains will be honored at Flaming Gorge, a place he held dear to his heart.
