Robert Gerald McKinney

Bob was born on January 1st, 1938, in Chicago, IL. He served in the Army from 1956-1959 with honorable discharge. He graduated from University of Illinois in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.

Bob married his sweetheart Marilyn Munroe in 1959 and had two sons. Rob Roy and Scott Munroe. While still living in Chicago he worked for Sears Roebuck Inc. as a test engineer. He later accepted a position at Lockheed Martin in Denver, CO where he spent many years enjoying his work as an aerospace engineer. After retiring from his engineering career, he relocated to Moffat County to help Scott with The Copy Shop Computer Corner. Together they attended Toshiba Digital University in Irvine, CA. Becoming proficient and certified allowed them to better serve their local Toshiba customers here in Northwest Colorado.

Bob enjoyed the simple things in life. Hunting, fishing, reading a good book, and the occasional glass of wine. His daily walks, where he met some great people along the way. His many trips to the mountain, even if it was just for some lunch and good company.
