It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of my mother, Julayne Ann Brown, who left us after a beautifully lived life on Sunday, August 25, 2024 at her home in Craig. She was 57 years young. Full of love, laughter, and resilience, she touched the lives of all who knew her. To commemorate her incredible journey and to celebrate the love she spread, a memorial service will be held in her honor at Grant Mortuary in Craig on Saturday, September 14th at 10am. We invite all who knew her to join us in remembering a truly remarkable woman. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to your local animal shelter as Julayne was an avid animal lover. Please join the family for a reception at the Chamber of Commerce following Julayne's services.
Julayne Ann White was born the beautiful daughter of Gene and Judy (Bailey) White on August 21, 1967 in Greeley, Colorado. She graduated from Lead-Deadwood High School in Deadwood, South Dakota. Julayne later moved to Haxtun, Colorado, where she raised her daughter, Breanna.
Julayne enjoyed her work as a certified nursing assistant for many years. Julayne resided in Haxtun, Colorado, for many years before moving to Craig to be closer to her daughter and her family whom she adored. Julayne took a break from nursing and had recently worked for Murdoch’s Ranch & Home Supply in Craig. In her spare time, Julayne loved spending time with her family, friends and her fur babies. She will be deeply missed by her family and those who had the privilege to know and love her.
Julayne is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Breanna and Chris McAlexander; and her two beloved grandchildren, Stella and Oliver McAlexander. She is further survived by a host of family and beloved friends.
