Joe is survived by his son and daughter-in-law Jonathan and Victoria Kendall and his granddaughter, Evelynn. He is also survived by his Aunt, Clara Kendall Thornton and two cousins, Jason Thornton and Amanda Thornton Prima.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents John “Johnny” Ray and Marilyn Joan Dowd Kendall and his daughter, Jade Nicole Kendall.
Joseph was a 20 year veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served as a Louisiana State Trooper for 9 years. Joe was a beloved friend and father. Above all, he was a beloved grandfather who lived a life dedicated to service.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, March 8, 2024 at 1:00 PM with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM.
