John Christopher Williams

It is with great sadness that the family of John Christopher Williams announce his sudden passing on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at the age of 58. He was born in Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and as an “army brat” he lived in Germany, France, and Okinawa. Stateside he lived in Maryland, Florida, and finally Abita Springs, Louisiana. After receiving an Associate’s degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, John pursued a career in electronic technologies with Compaq Computer Corporation, Hewlett Packard Enterprise Company and Ochsner Health System. John will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Donna O’Flynn Williams; two sons Shaun O’Flynn Williams and Erin Christopher Williams; father Johnnie L. Williams; brother Fred Williams and his wife Ann; sister Anita Williams Ray and the late Preston Ray; son-in-law of Patricia and Jim Fouts; brother-in-law of Debra O’Flynn and Mike Richard, David and Jani O’Flynn, Duane and Vicki O’Flynn; and many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Lee Williams. A memorial visitation for John will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, Louisiana, followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 AM.
