James is survived by his children Jamie Martins (Steve), Julie Day (Jeff), Jill Baillio (Pete Hines), and Beau Baillio (Taleisha) and five grandchildren Gabrielle Angell, Aubrey Armanini, Olivia Armanini, Hailey Gross, and Christian Boutwell. He is also survived by his sister Jocelyn Micono, his brothers Joseph Baillio, Jack Baillio, Jerry Baillio, and Jeffrey Baillio; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and family members.
James is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Johnny Baillio and Julian Baillio.
Jimmy, a generous spirit who touched many lives, was blessed with a vast and loving family. He cherished the bonds he shared with his brothers, sister, daughters and son. A passionate outdoorsman and talented cook, he had a special gift for making those closest to him feel cherished, valued and joyful when he was inspired to create a delicious meal or share the gifts of one of his timeless hobbies of woodworking and leather making. His legacy of kindness and courage will be missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM.
Burial will follow the services in St. Lazarus of Bethany Memorial Garden, adjacent to Grace Funeral Home.
