Francisco B Leal Jr.

Francisco B. Leal Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday morning, April 10, 2022. He was 76 years old. Loving father of Francisco B. “Paco” Leal III (Lesley), Marissa Leal, and Christina L. McKinley (Dion), and his beloved fur baby, Toto. Grandfather of Ayden Leal, Aaron Leal, Alexis Leal, Jackson McKinley, and Sydney McKinley. Brother of Sylvia Leal, Josephina “Jolly” Leal, and the late Wendy Leal Canales, and the late Rachel Leal. Son of the late Lucille Beal Leal and Francisco B. Leal Sr. He was a native of Brownsville, Texas and joined the United States Navy after high school. He proudly served in the Navy for six years, where he was a Morse Code Interpreter and was honored with the National Defense Service Medal. After the Navy, he raised his three children in Memphis and New Orleans, and has recently been a resident of Southaven, Mississippi. Francisco was a Maritime Shipping Agent and worked at the Port of New Orleans. He overcame many adversities in life through his faith and strength in Jesus Christ. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at GRACE FUNERAL HOME, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, on Saturday afternoon, April 16, 2022 from 1:00 until 3:00.
