Chris Joseph Boudreaux Jr.

Chris Joseph Boudreaux Jr., age 54, of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away on December 27, 2021 in the arms of his loving wife of 23 years, Melissa Marie Boudreaux. Born July 21, 1967 to Diane Mary Darcy and the late Chris Joseph Boudreaux Sr. He was a father of five beautiful daughters. Amanda Mclain (Robert), Jill Davis (Chris), Marcella Fouquet (Joshua), Parrish Boudreaux, and Vanessa Boudreaux. He is survived by 13 grandchildren Christian 19, Kaelee 16, Beau 14, Rowyn 12, Adalynn 11, Zoey 10, Kennedy 10, Ace 9, Olivia 5, Indie 4, Evelyn 4, Vivien 2, and Juno 1; 7 siblings Rodney (Tish), Jason (Katie), Brett (Laurie), Suzette (Brian), Glen, Jacob, Ginger (Dan); and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and close friends. He graduated from O’ Perry Walker class of 1986, and enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where he served twenty years both on active duty and in the reserve before retiring. He honorably served a tour a theater for the Gulf War. During 9/11 Chris facilitated the Honor Guard for the families of fallen soldiers. He was a successful proprietor and active in his community. When he was not working Chris could be found traveling with his family, a true family man. He loved to dance especially to salsa music, sing, laugh, joke, swim, an avid runner, a people person, and a mentor to many young men throughout his life. He could see the potential in a person. Chris sowed a seed for the Lord everywhere he went and always gained a friend along the way. He left this world as a steward of Christ as only he could a forthright flight into Heaven and inherited his wings. He will be deeply missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at GRACE FUNERAL HOME, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be held on Friday evening from 5:00 until 8:00, and again on Saturday morning from 10:00 until 12:00. Interment will follow in the adjacent St. Lazarus of Bethany Memorial Garden.
