Ashley Hoffstadt Taylor, born on September 20, 1988, was a force like none other. She was bright, outgoing, never met a stranger, and loved a good glass of champagne. As the youngest of five, she learned early on how to assert herself and make her opinion known. All that knew her, enjoyed her bubbly personality, and being in her presence. Ashley was a true Virgo that emulated her constellation: appearing brightly in the evening sky.
Ashley grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana, and graduated from St. Scholastica Academy. She married Michael and together they raised their four precious children in Covington. Ashley had the job of her dreams: to stay home and be with her children. She taught them to appreciate her values of family, fun, dancing, and capturing the moment.
Surrounded by her loving family Ashley, entered into eternal life on September 25, 2023. True to her personality, she fought with the same grace and strength that she was so well known for. Ashley could accomplish things most people couldn’t and this was no exception. She was able to fight against all odds, facing each battle like she lived her life, confidently and courageously. Everyone who knew and loved Ashley will miss her radiant smile which she shared until the very end.
Ashley is survived by her husband, John Michael Taylor, Jr.; the loves of her life, daughters: Charlotte Rose (8), Collins Grace (5); and twin sons: Johnny Hoffstadt and Beau Michael (3); her loving mother, Peggy Powers Hoffstadt Mitchell and stepfather Lynn Mitchell; her siblings whom she was extremely close, Jennifer Wood (Jeff), Shawn Hoffstadt (Sally), Katie Northey (Sean), Ellie Maddox (Trey); her numerous nieces and nephews, whom she adored; many cousins and a large extended family; her wonderful in-laws, Michael and Mary Taylor; stepmother, Diana Rowland Hoffstadt; half sister, Anna Hoffstadt and her tribe of amazing friends.
Ashley is preceded in death by her father, Jack Hoffstadt; grandparents, Marie Burg Powers, Paul Powers, and Earl Messmer.
