Adam is survived by his children Whitney Grace and Aden David; the mother of his children Jamie Reed; his mother Angela (Whitney) Greener (Hap); his father Brian Jon Reed (Evette). He is also survived by his maternal grandfather David Whitney, his sister-in-law Betsy (Petrus) Greener, his nieces and nephews, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Adam is preceded in death by his step-brother Nicholas Greener, his maternal grandmother Brenda Whitney, his maternal grandparents Jack and Gloria Reed and Steve and Joyce Greener.
Adam never met a stranger. He was thoughtful, always willing to help, without waiting to be asked. Adam served in the United States Marine Corps with combat duty in Afghanistan. Adam also served his country through his employment with the Transportation Safety Administration and the Veterans Administration, assisting fellow veterans to receive their well-deserved disability benefits. Adam spent his entire life in Louisiana, never missing Mardi Gras and faithfully cheering for LSU and the Saints.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial services at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, October 4, 2024 at 12:00 Noon with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM.
Burial will take place at a later date in Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, Slidell, LA
