Rose Anne Wilkins

Passed away peacefully with family by her side at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, May 18th, 2016 at the age of 76 years. Beloved wife of the late James Elmer Wilkins and very cherished grandmother of Amber Rose James and Trinity Storrar. Loving mother of Robert and Catherine. Dear sister of Norah Bystranski and Rose Anne’s nephew Kirt Scammell. Sister-in-law Moon Wilkins. Rose Anne was employed at Via Rail for many years and took early retirement to enjoy time with her family and friends. Rose Anne enjoyed knitting, Scrabble and card games with her close friends, and spending time with her granddaughter Amber Rose. Rose Anne was very kind and loving to her family and friends, as well as independent, strong, and compassionate. A private graveside service will take place later at Pine Hills Cemetery, Scarborough.
