I met Lori when we were in Grade 6. We realized we lived on the same street and were fast friends. SHE WAS AMAZING!! We did everything together. We would ride our bikes around the neighbourhood looking for a new adventure or gossip or a cute boy. She loved horses, make-up, rock and roll and tight jeans. She was a little bit wild and I was a little bit sensible so we usually balanced each other out.  Some of our biggest laughs were in the backseat of her parents’ Volvo driving to her cottage. I thought Ron and Gloria were amazing and she would just roll her eyes and pretend to be embarrassed but I knew she loved them. 
 She protected her friends with a fierceness that was awesome and you always knew you could count on her for anything at any time. She was fun and sarcastic and when you were with her it was simply wonderful.
Steve, Katie and Dalton I am so sorry for your loss. Wishing you comfort and peace. Lori was the best and she will be deeply missed.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved wife/mother. I remember sitting at break listening to stories from Steve, the love he had for Lori shining through with every story. Jeff and I unfortunately won't be able to make the viewing as we are in Florida but we send our deepest condolences. Such a tough time, make sure you hold each other tight.
