It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Black on Friday, January 21, 2022 at the age of 54 due to complications of MS. A beautiful, wonderful, loving soul, she is survived by her devoted husband Keith, daughter Taylor (Jamie), and son Nolan: the loves of her life. Her father Hans Steffan (Late Rose Marie) of Whitby. To be reunited with her dear mother Heidi Moenig (Late Joe), who dearly departed us, July 2021. Survived also by her step-siblings Dorothy (Ray), Jim, Peter (Maureen), and Joachim (Wendy). Dearly loved by her in-laws the Black family: Ken (Late Kathy), Late Jean; Trevor (Jeannie), Jan (Rick), Bill (Tracey); Stuart, Joanne, and George. Her many nieces, nephews and friends, especially her best friends Liz Barr and Bonita Cooke. Missed by her mothers’ friend, Christel. Special thank you to the caregivers who assisted Lisa everyday. Considering Lisa's challenges in life, she always remained positive. She looked for the best in people. Those who met her, loved her instantly. She will be truly missed.
