Kurt Ernst Wagner

Passed away on Thursday, November 4th, 2016, in his 86th year. Dearly beloved husband of Elisabeth and former wife Sigrid. Loving father of Heidi McKnight (Doug) and Ralph (Carole). Cherished grandfather of Lisa, Tommy, Cody, Cassidy; and great grandfather of Tommy, Liam, Maxton, and Jamie. Will be fondly remembered by his family and friends. After emigrating from Germany in 1957, Kurt was employed by General Motors Canada, Oshawa, as a Tool and Die Maker. He was a long standing member of the Masonic Temple; taught seamanship with the Canadian Power Squadron; past president of the German Club Loreley; and founder of the Air Rifle Association; Founder of the Club Loreley Choir. Kurt, enjoyed his many years as an avid hunter, fisherman, boatman, enjoyed camping and outdoor activities. In retirement he enjoyed his many years vacationing in Florida with his wife Elisabeth and dog Shadow. A memorial service will be held at Courtice Funeral Chapel 1587 Highway #2, Courtice (905-432-8484) on Thursday, November 10th, 2016 at 3:00 pm, with visitation beginning at 2 pm.
