It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Julie Marjory Timms at age of 81 years, on Dec 5 2023.She was surrounded by her family and love and passed peacefully in Oshawa Hospital

Visitation will be Monday Dec 11th from 2-4 and 6-8 at Courtice Funeral Chapel 1587 Hwy#2 Courtice On

Funeral will take place Tuesday Dec 12th at 10:30am at Courtice Funeral Chapel

Celebration of her life will be at 2pm at the Oshawa Legion 471 Simcoe Street S

Julie was born on Sept 18. 1942, and was predeceased by her parents Marjory and Harry Taylor. She was also predeceased by her husband Fredrick Timms, daughter Heather Timms, and Grandson Joey Maw. She is survived by her sister Wendy VanRaay & (spouse) Mario, and her children Karen Sansom & (spouse) Richard, Robert Timms & (spouse) Lisa, Laurie Nagle & (spouse) Wally, Bonnie Sheppard & (spouse) Brian, as well as her Grandchildren David, Danny, Shannon , Katie, Laura, James, Karley, Jeremy, Jamie, Jonathan, Heather, Taylor and 26 Greatgrandchildren.

Julie lived a life well lived was a published author of 26 books, and volunteered many year at the Simcoe Hall Settlement House food bank. Her and her late husband Fredrick Timms owned trucking businesses Timms Haulage and later Timms-U-Hail I Drive.

Requests for donations to me made to Simcoe Hall Settlement House Food Bank, where she spent many years helping people in need.
