When I started in the security business one of my first clients was EJ. He and I always met weekly traveled to Vancouver and Timmins to visit the Toyota sites. EJ had a great since of life and enjoyment which I shared with him. My wife and I went to one of EJ's Christmas parties and had a wonderful time. I will miss him and he left us far to early in life. To young to be gone from all of us.  Charlie & I had a great visit with Greg when we were in Florida a couple of years ago, and have kept in contact with him ever since,  great memories of Greg at the bowling alley Oshawa Lanes were we worked years ago.

My  deepest sympathies to Greg's family and friends. While I only met Greg for a few hours on the day he showed up to the emergency department, I knew he was a special man. We had discussed getting together and having dinner and I had hoped we had been able to become closer friends. It seemed that within those those few hours we had made a special connection and I had never imagined that things would have turned out the way they did. I'm grateful he had his family by his side and his friends there with him along the way. I know he's in God's hands looking down and thankful for all the many people that loved him and will always remember him. I often thought of him and so I know those that knew him well will think of him daily and keep his memory alive. To those who knew him best and love him the most know that he will always be with you.

Over many years, EJ helped me in every way he could to solve all of my dilemma I had at Toyota Canada.  I can still hear his footsteps coming up the stairs to the Executive Office asking me "what is your problem now?"....  He was way too young to leave this world.

I met EJ while working at Jack's Scarborough. He was a lunch time regular. What first started as a guest/server relationship quickly turned into a friendship. We would always have his booth ready to go at lunch and I think I would spend more of my shift talking with him. We would talk about everything under the sun, he was such a great soul and had such a light.  After I left Jack's we stayed in touch. I can't believe he is gone, the world just got a little bit darker. My deepest condolences to his family.  EJ you will be missed but never forgotten. My heart hurts....

I first met Greg when I worked at EJ's variety with him. I was only 20 and I don't think I've ever met a Kinder, funnier, more wonderful person in my entire life. He always knew how to make me laugh even when I was sad, all he had to do was say "Oh Myrtle", which he did...often.

I will miss him, and every time I  think of Myrtle it will make me smile.

Growing up with Greg and his family as our neighbours brought back many memories and smiles. To him climbing in windows, days in the bowling alley, and a visit to his Florida home with his sister my best friend Karen. Although many years had passed he opened up his heart and home and it was like we were still kids again laughing and giggling over past memories of our childhood. 
To Karen, Janet, Michael,Christine and your families my thoughts, prayers and love are with you all.

I worked with EJ for many years in the Administration department of Toyota Canada. He always used to call me Auntie because he discovered that my grandmother’s maiden name was Carr and that his family came from the same area as mine in northern England. Whenever he saw me, he would say, ‘Hello Auntie dearest’ even though I’m not really that much older than him! It gave us a special bond. Rest in peace, dear EJ.

Greg was a wonderful sweet guy. Although he was my Brother In Law I considered him my brother/friend. I told him when we first met that he was welcome at our home anytime he was in the neighborhood and just stop in.. no phone call needed. He was so surprised to hear that. I said Hey.. you are family.. and always welcome here. He had the best gatherings at his house and always made everyone feel so welcome.   I know that Mom & Pops among many others were there to welcome him home.. . We're  gonna miss ya Big Guy.  xoxox

I met Greg in 2003,  when I moved to Canada. He introduced me to his parents and made me feel  at home. Always kept in touch. We had a very special connection.  I am missing him very much. I lost more than a friend.

I worked with EJ for many years at Toyota Canada . He was responsible for facility maintenance and I was in the parts distribution center(PDC  warehouse) so we probably chatted every day , if not many times a day! EJ was always very dedicated in his role and he was truly very helpful when I had facility issues! He was very knowledgeable and that helped alot. I have lots of memories of our chats!!!
Its sad that  EJ was taken at such early age ....
