Passed away peacefully with family by his side after a lengthy illness at the Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Wednesday, April 12th, 2017 in his 81st year. Beloved husband to Jean (nee Burleigh) for 60 years. Predeceased by son Danny and Daughter Kathy (Grant). Loving father to David (Brenda) and Gary. Dear son of Alice Jean Stone. Predeceased by his father Albert Charles (Charlie) Stone. Survived by siblings Edith (Emile), Shirley, Jean (late Bob), Helen (Darrell). Fondly remembered by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Daniel was an employee with Dunlop/Firestone for 25 years; and the Scarborough Board of Education for 20 years.
