Anne Hutchinson

HUTCHINSON, Anne Leslie – Peacefully at home, in Courtice ON, with her family by her side, on Sunday, October 18th 2015. Anne was in her 53rd year and the beloved wife of Scot Hutchinson. Loved daughter of Eleanor and Ron Templar. Cherished mother to Amy and Maggie. Fondly remembered by her dear sister Lynn Arthurs (Paul) and their family and by many relatives and friends.

Anne had a great passion for her career as a teacher, having many opportunities to share her adoration of reading with many students in the library. She was a wonderful wife and mother and loved to spend time with her family, especially boating during the summer.

Anne was strongly supported during her 8-1/2 years of cancer treatment by the doctors and staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Sunnybrook Hospital with a special thank you to Dr. Verma and the staff at the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook.

Please join Scot, Amy, and Maggie to Celebrate Anne’s Life on Friday October 23, 2015, at KINGSVIEW UNITED CHURCH (505 Adelaide Ave E, Oshawa) at 10:00 am with a reception to follow the service. As this is a celebration of Anne’s life black attire is not required. Arrangements entrusted to COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice, ON (905-432-8484). The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Odette Cancer Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital.
