Wilma Fay Clark

1934 – 2011

Clark, Wilma Fay passed away on April 10, 2011 at home in Union Bay. Born in Canwood, Saskatchewan on October 3, 1934

Wilma was born the youngest child to Bertha and Wilmer booker on a dairy farm in Saskatchewan. At the age of nine the family moved to Ontario. As a teenager Wilma married her sweethearts, Chum, and they have enjoyed almost 59 wonderful years together. They moved to the valley in 1962 and eventually completed their family of fire children, Wilma and Chum resided in Union Bay for the last 20 years. Wilma was well known for her faith in Jesus, loving babies and baking bread.

She is predeceased by her older brothers, Donald and Meryl Booker.

She is survived by husband Gordon (Chum) Clark, children, Katherine Peterson(Phil), Gordon Clark (Lorna), Susan Papp (Frank, Donald Clark (JoAnna) and David Clark (Leanne), sister Geraldine McDonald, brother Earl Booker, 34 Grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday April 19, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Northgate Foursquare Church, 1640 Burgess rd, in Courtenay.
