Passed away on April 18, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox, B.C. William was born in Vancouver, B.C on March 30, 1928.
Bill grew up in Vancouver, and at age 17 he joined the Airforce. He married Viola in 1957 and had four children. He has had many jobs over his life, but the last was working at Utah Mines in Port Hardy where he lived before moving to Courtenay. At age 64, he retired with his family to Courtenay. He loved to sing, joke, write poems and fish. He will be missed very much.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Viola, children, Sharon, Sandra, Richard and Michael. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren and his two brothers, Harry and Doug.
