Born on May 19, 1939, to Katie and Tony Narowski in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Ron was a man of many talents and great dedication.
Ron spent his early years in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, where he attended school. His career began with various jobs, including working in a mine in Thompson, Manitoba, on drilling rigs, and at a pre-casting cement company in Edmonton, Alberta. With determination and hard work, he earned his steam engineer’s ticket and worked for his brother Walter in Edson. Ron then purchased land and began farming, later finding a job as a gas plant operator.
Ron’s love language was creating, repairing and maintaining everything around him to improve the quality of life for those he held dear. His handiwork was a testament to his meticulous nature and love for practical craftsmanship.
As an active member of the Baptist community, Ron was known for his love of scripture and in particular, his studies of the end times and the Rapture. He also enjoyed supporting the church through his many gifts and talents.
Ron was a dedicated family man whose love and support were the cornerstone of his family’s life. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Carole (nee Kohlruss), his children Matthew Narowski (Tammy) and Joelle Ritter (Dan), his grandchildren Mackenzie Cooper (Cody), Alexandra Shepherd (Joshua), and Christopher Narowski (Kacey) and 5 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Joseph and Stephanie, and predeceased by his siblings Walter, Mary, and Sophie.
A Celebration of Life will be held at “The Farm” in Union Bay on Tuesday July 30th at 11:30 with lunch to follow. To honor Ron’s wishes, this is a casual affair, and jeans are appropriate attire.
