Rick was one of the kindest, most generous people I have ever known.

Just learning of Uncle Rick's passing.  He was always a wonderful Uncle to me as a little girl in Ottawa.   I have many memories as a small child of  Uncle Rick, especially when we lived with him for a brief period of time. While we saw each other again in early 2000's it had been many  years. We enjoyed some social media chat. Fond farewell Uncle Rick.

Sincere sympathy to the children of the late Richard George Asselin.  He was a very kindhearted man and loved his children so much! R.I.P. Dick.

My heart goes out to all of Ricks loved ones. I was close friends with Rick for many years and he was a true gentleman, soft spoken and kind. He lent a hand whenever needed. I truly thank him for making this world a better place. RIP Rick, our family will remember you always!
