Paul Andres Clemens

Paul is survived by Kristiana. He was predeceased by parents, Paul and Mabel; brother, Eric; sister, Val; and partner, Carole Chambers. Also mourning his passing are his sister, Lenore; nephews, Jeremy and Noah; Kristiana's mother, Pamela Waddell Clemens; as well as his extended and chosen families of relatives, friends and neighbours.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Paul lived in Ottawa, Edmonton and Vancouver before moving to Hornby Island in 1994. Intellectual and philosophical, Paul loved music, science and word games. He was perhaps best known for his sonorous voice, playful songs and accounting skill. Generous to a fault, deeply loyal, introverted and reflective, he found spiritual refuge amid the forests and rocks of his cherished island home.

A memorial gathering for friends and family will be held at New Horizons, 1765 Sollans Road on Hornby Island, Sunday, October 29 at 1pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Kitchen at Joe King ballpark on Hornby Island.
