I just found out about Dave's passing today...Father's Day.  I cannot imagine the gap his lose will leave in the Campbell family.  How fortunate I was to have know such a happy and funny man!  Our thoughts are with Joanne, Lea, all all the rest of the the family.

My most heartfelt condolences to you and your family, JoAnn.  I was just in Campbell River en route to the lake briefly on Monday when I heard this sad news.  My thoughts are with you all.  May many happy memories fill your hearts now and always.

Dave will always be remembered.  He had a very wonderful personality. Outstanding community member.  To the Campbell family big hugs and know that he made many people feel happy, even in a brief encounter.

Very sad to hear of David's passing.  I was a colleague of David for several years in the Victoria area.  My sincere sympathy to his family.  He will be missed.

I am so sad and sorry to hear of Dave's passing. Such a gentleman and friend to many. My late husband Terry and I always respected him so much. As someone said earlier, he would always bring out the sparkle in others. May the love and support of your family and friends help you through this terrible time.

We will remember Dave always as a wonderful Husband, proud Father and Grandfather and super friend to Terry and I and our family.  He always made us feel good and talk about someone who lived life to the fullest - that was David.  Either camping, cycling trips, up at the lake, celebrating birthdays or entertaining at home, he always made our time together special.  We feel very privileged to have known him. We are all so deeply saddened by David's passing.  He was such a wonderful person and we all loved him so.

Dave was such a light in our neighbourhood.... Always happy to share his wonderful carefully crafted wine, his famous marmelade, a laugh, and a good story.
