George Andrews died peacefully, surrounded by family, April 29th at the Comox Valley Hospital after a short illness.
He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and a cherished patriarch to a large extended family across the country. He led a long and happy life, was many things to many people, a proud veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, hockey coach and fan , past Worshipful Master of Cumberland Masonic Lodge, Inventor, and cyclist extraordinaire. George was a member of the Courtenay Royal Canadian Legion, Courtenay Kiawanis, the White Cane Club, and the Hard of Hearing.
