Frances Mary (Dempsey) Walsh

Frances was born on December 14, 1941, to Winnifred and Patrick Dempsey in Canada Harbour, Newfoundland. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, whose kindness and warmth touched everyone she met.

She leaves behind her beloved children: Geraldine (Russell), John (Trish), Andrew (Wendy), and Aida (Tom). She was a proud grandmother to Michael (Christopher), Christina (David), Brittney (Caleb), Victoria (Corbin), and Ashley, and a cherished great-grandmother to Brayden, Kelcie, Konnor, Addison, Stetson, and Hailey.

Frances is survived by her loving siblings: Kathleen, twin sister Madeline, Patrick, and Jerome. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Walsh, as well as her siblings John, Frank, Michael, Ron, Bern, Joe, Andy, Bernadette, and Margaret.

She will be fondly remembered for her love of knitting, sewing, fishing, gardening, and playing darts. Her hands were always busy, whether creating something beautiful or sharing a warm meal with those she loved.

Frances was deeply loved by her family and many close friends. She will be forever missed and always remembered.

A service to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date.
