Diane Lynn Johnston

Diane passed away on January 31, 2022 at the Comox Valley Hospital. She was born in Brandon, Manitoba in 1953 and later moved out to BC in 1965 with her mother (Isabelle) father (Larry), and siblings.

Diane graduated from high school in the Comox Valley. She married her high school sweetheart, Terry Johnston, in 1973. Together they raised their 4 children in the Comox Valley. Although mom spent some of her days working as a server and bookkeeper she was always a mom and wife first. She took pride in raising her family but also owning and operating a local restaurant. Diane was a kind and generous woman. She was loved wherever she went and was always known to bring a smile to every gathering she attended. Her love for everyone shined through her. Diane was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be remembered for her happy energy, her stylish attire, her loving spirit, her silly personality, and her gift for the gab. Diane will be greatly missed by all that she crossed paths with.

Diane is predeceased by her father Larry Naswell and her brother Rick Naswell.

Survived by her husband (Terry), children Kerri (Joe), Kelly (Jack), Kassie, Kory (Jacqueline), grandchildren (Mariah, Kylie, Keira, Emma W, Emma F, Ava, Caleb, and Elise), mother (Isabelle), sisters (Darlene, Sandra, Lorrie, Jackie, Tammy), brothers (Ronnie, Terry, Gary, Greg, Murray).

A Celebration of life will be held in the coming months.
