Born and raised in a close knit family in Frankford, Ontario, Carolyn later left with her own family to travel across Canada and back again to finally settle in Calgary, Alberta. She worked in the retail sector and enjoyed it tremendously. In Carolyn’s later years, she moved to Courtenay, B.C. to be nearer to her family.
Predeceased by her parents Gerald Garnet Lawrence, Ethel May Lawrence and her partner Paul Bernier, Carolyn is survived by her one sister Bernice Mercy ( Claude) Dupré and their family in Ontario, daughters Stella( Michael) Claudette, Ethel (Thomas), sons Nathan (Cindy) Richard (Leona) Ted (Heidi) and of course very precious grand and great grand children.
We would like to thank all the wonderful nurses and aids at Mountainview who made her last years a safe and caring place to live.
Carolyn had alway a loving smile, gracious laughter and open arms. We will miss her dearly. Big Love to you mom xoxo
