Brenda was born to Anne & Harry Armstrong in Vancouver, she was the 2nd child; she had big sis Arlene (passed Feb 21, 2024) and is survived by younger siblings Roger & Cindi. She’s also survived by her daughter Heidi, (TJ), grandson Steven, nephew Christopher (Amy), Niece Jessica (Paul) and Niece Mary (Craig) from Calgary.
Her two biggest cheerleaders in life were her life partner Aileen and her longtime friend Julie. They were always there for her, right up to the end.
Ever since she was little she had a love for animals, and would bring home a variety of them as she grew up (first mice, then bunnies, and so on). She had many dogs, the last being Sasha, her faithful cocker spaniel who predeceased her by a month.
She loved music, and taught herself to play the guitar. Loved to drive anywhere and everywhere, so she did! A walk on the beach or in a forest would always soothe her soul. She was often the voice of reason, offering up sage advice whenever asked.
We’re all going to miss hearing your quiet, calm voice. The world is a little less bright without you in it, Bren. You were so loved, by so many. We’ll never forget you.
