Albert "Al" Frank Gingell

Predeceased by his wife of nearly fifty years Patricia (Pat) (nee Inglis)

Dear Father of Sandy (Jim), Cindy (Chris), Rick (Janet), Jamie (Karen), Son-in-law Mike, Brother of Lillian. Dear Grandfather of 13 including two predeceased and great Grandfather of many.

Al was born in Smeaton Saskatchewan but moved to Vancouver when he was seven. After completing high school, his first job was building boats until he was hired by BC Tel. During his career with the phone company, he held several different positions in various locations within BC. Eventually he moved to Courtenay where he finally retired. Over the years, he spent his winters in sunny Yuma where he formed many long-term friendships. Al was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed help. He loved dogs and all dogs loved him.

He will be sadly missed by all who know him. No service by request.
