On March 9, 2018 at the age of 97, “Bill” passed away surrounded by his family. He was born on January 8, 1921 in Louisville, KY. He was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, receiving his Bachelors in Business in 1942. He served in the Army Air Corp in WW2 performing his duties both stateside and in the Pacific. He began his career in the metals industry in 1946 and worked for Reynolds Metals Company, Pioneer Aluminum and Bralco Metals through the course of 48 years. On June 2, 1948 he married Mary Josephine O’Connor at St. Patrick’s Church in Miami, FL. He was predeceased by his loving wife “Jo” in 1990 and by his brother Charles G. Morrow in 1999. He is survived by his daughters Teresa (Don) Wenig of El Dorado Hills, Patricia Morrow of Louisville, Christine (Kreg) Enos of Orland and Joanne Morrow of Costa Mesa and grandchildren Michael Wenig of Miranda and Shannon (Jesse) Woodhull of Oceanside. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John the Baptist in Costa Mesa on Wednesday, March 14th at 1:30pm. The burial is private. He was loved and respected by all who crossed his path and he will be greatly missed. Remembrances in his memory are requested to the University of Notre Dame.
