Paul Edwin Lesk was born in Los Angeles, CA on November 23, 1941 to Mildred and Harry Lesk. He graduated from Millikan High School In Long Beach and soon thereafter started to pursue a career in Music. In 1964, he was drafted and began to serve in the National Guard.
Around the same time, he reconnected with childhood friend Donna Schraier and they started dating. Then, on October 13, 1964, they married and were able to celebrate 57 years of marriage together before Donna passed in 2021.
Paul developed a passion for Music at an early age. Although he never took formal lessons or training, Paul wrote many songs on the piano, sang them and recorded them with the intention of pursuing a career. He marketed his songs under the alias he created for himself, "Paul Chandler". He had some success, released a few records and sang on the "Bob Eubanks Show" . Unfortunately, the Vietnam draft derailed his musical pursuits.
Paul had a quick wit and loved to make people laugh. He would tell funny stories about his life or recount anecdotes that would entertain.
Paul passed May 26th in Anaheim, CA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Schraier Lesk, his sister Peggy and his parents; Mildred and Harry.
He is survived by his son Craig and wife Lisa, daughter Karen Lesk Samet and husband Peter, grandchildren: Charlie Lesk, Josh Samet and Nicole Samet.
