Marian Louise (Schwarz) Hecker was born July 3, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois and went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 29, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Richard A. Hecker, and son, John W Hecker, of the home; brother, William F. Schwarz, and his wife, Anna, of Harrison, Arkansas; and numerous cousins, nephews, and a niece.
Marian was a graduate of Huntington Park High School, class of 1946. She was married to the love of her life, Dick, on October 17, 1959. They lived in Costa Mesa for 54 years where they owned and operated two Richfield Service Stations over the years which they made many friends in the community. She retired in February 2010 after 64 years of work, the last 31 of which were with Lesley, Thomas, Schwarz, & Postma Inc., CPAs.
Marian was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Altadena, California.
Marian, Dick, and John were active charter members of the Early Ford V8 Club of Southern California Regional Group #11.
