Henry Peter Stoltenberg

Henry was born in Wayne County Nebraska on November 12, 1936 to Elvin and Enid (Foltz) Stoltenberg. He helped out around the farm with crops and all the animals. He attended grade school at District 22 of Wayne County and graduated from Randolph High School in 1954. He was enlisted in the US Army from 1954 until 1956. Served as a medic in France. After Henry attended one year of college at Wayne State Teachers College in Nebraska he headed west to California. He worked briefly at a gas station before he started work at Southern California Gas Company where he had held several titles. He retired about 1995.

Henry lived in Venice, CA for a short time then married Mary Ann Maynarich in December 1964. They lived in Los Angeles, CA for a short time before moving to Huntington Beach in 1967. They had a son, Patrick in 1966. They divorced in 1980.

Henry is survived by his son, Patrick, sister Dixie Kucera and her husband Melvin of Tilden, Nebraska, brother-in-law William Kern of Everman TX, and several nieces and nephews.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents Enid and Elvin, infant brother, Elvin Jr., sister Donna Albright and her husband Melvin, sister Jo Ann Kern, and brother Gerald Stoltenberg.
