Harleen Kaur

Harleen Kaur, age 55, passed away peacefully on December 06, 2021, at her home in Foothill Ranch, CA surrounded by her family. She lived a happy and contented life and had a strong faith in her “Sikhism” religion.

Harleen was born on November 19th, 1966, in Patiala, Punjab, India to loving parents (Mahinder Singh Sachdeva and Surjit Kaur Sachdeva). She grew up with her sister Gurleen in a warm and loving home in Patiala, Punjab, India. She got married to Kanwal Singh in India on May 29th, 1988, and moved to US in 1990. She along with Kanwal raised two beautiful children Amit Singh (born 1991) and Anika Singh (born 1996).

Harleen was one of the most kind, caring and cheerful persons. She loved deeply and was incredibly generous to her family and friends with her time, especially with her home cooked food. She loved to host people and enjoyed preparing elaborate meals. She found happiness in creating masterpieces in her home kitchen named “Harleen’s Kitchen.” She loved hiking and walks on the beach and traveling around the world experiencing other cultures with her family. She loved singing & dancing and watching Jeopardy Show with the family. Most of all, she loved being a mother and giving her children the best possible life that she could. She was very thankful to all her family and friends for their love and support throughout her life journey.

She was an incredible mother, amazing wife, loving daughter & sister, and a wonderful friend. Harleen is survived by her two children (Amit & Anika), husband (Kanwal), sister (Gurleen), and mother (Surjeet Kaur Sachdeva).

The funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021.
