Carol Lynn Fricke

January 15, 1947 ~ March 13, 2024

Carol Lynn Fricke passed away, with her daughters by her side, on March 13, 2024 in Newport Beach, California.

Carol is preceded in death by her loving parents Harry Robert Fricke and Dorothy Margaret (Schroeder) Fricke.

She is survived by her four children with former husband Vincent Gerald Smedes: Laura Elizabeth (Smedes) Antoyan and her husband Adam Antoyan, Michael Vincent Smedes and his wife Kierstyn Lynn (Gullicksrud) Smedes, Claudia Anne (Smedes) Sherk and Jessika Catherine (Smedes) Friedrichs and her husband Paul Friedrichs. Carol is also survived by her 11 grandchildren: Amber Antoyan, Ava Antoyan, Allie Antoyan, Audrey Antoyan, Olivia Smedes, Ty Smedes, Taylor (Sherk) Hollingsworth and her husband Colby Hollingsworth and 1st great granddaughter Ada Mae Hollingsworth (3-14-2024), Cole Sherk, Zoe Friedrichs, Isla Friedrichs and Coco Friedrichs.

Carol is also survived by her three siblings, Laura Milhon (Kendall, nephews, Bryan & Erik), Beth Kearney (Jim, niece Shannon and nephew Ryan) and Bill Fricke (Debra, nephews Cameron & Tyler)

Carol was a beautiful and gracious woman who loved her family with her whole heart.

A celebration of life will be held on July 21, 2024 at The Lido Isle Yacht Club in Newport Beach, CA (time TBD).
