Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and passed away at the age of 79 in Walnut Creek, CA after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Robert Rogoff and beloved parents Abraham and Ida Glass. She is survived by her daughters Susan Adams (Paul) and Nancy Sperling, grandchildren Jack and Zoe, and brothers Sheldon Glass and Marvin Glass.
Always a New Yorker at heart, Bonnie moved to California in 1972 with her first husband and their two young daughters. Luckily, Bonnie made friends easily and was known to run into people she knew no matter where she was: the bank, the grocery store, or even on vacation. Bonnie was a music lover and enjoyed dancing and attending concerts, including Elvis Presley and Diana Ross in Las Vegas. Singing along to the radio was something that remained a constant throughout most of her life. In the early 1990’s Bonnie joined Temple B'nai Tzedek in Fountain Valley where she became an active member and met her husband Robert Rogoff. They married in 1994 and began to travel the US and abroad, particularly enjoying cruises, and often returning to New York to visit Bonnie’s family. Bonnie was an active volunteer throughout her life. You can honor Bonnie by listening to music from her fellow Brooklynites Barbra Streisand and Neil Diamond, or dancing in your kitchen to the BeeGees. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
