Wilma Edith Freetage

Wilma Edith Freetage, age 89, of Maryville, TN formally of West Lafayette, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023. She was born on November 9, 1933, in Centre Hall, PA to the late Roy and Ellen (Waite) Weaver.

On January 6, 1952, she married Reuben Freetage who passed away in 2012.

Wilma attended West Lafayette United Methodist Church, was a long time member of the Eastern Star, enjoyed making crafts, putting puzzles together and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her son, Rick (Trudy) Freetage of Maryville, TN; five grandchildren, daughters-in-law, Jessie and Susie Freetage; brother-in-law, Craig Smith of New Jersey, and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and husband, Wilma is preceded in death by two sons, James and Kenneth Freetage, grandson, Jeffrey Freetage and sisters, Jane Smith and June Green.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 7, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023, at 10: 00 am with Pastor Matt Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery.
