Richard “Rich” Jones

Richard “Rich” Lloyd Jones, 72, of Warsaw, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on February 26, 1950 to the late Glen L. and Isabel M. (Stokes) Jones. Rich married Sandy (Conner) Jones on July 6, 1996. He worked as a mechanical engineer before retiring. He attended Gospel Hill Ministry, and liked volunteering for church projects. He enjoyed traveling for work, especially to China. Rich enjoyed reading, and loved spending time with his family and his dog Cheney. Rich is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Sandy Jones, his children Lisa (Bryan) Roberts, Nicole Jones, and Elizabeth (Bryant) McDermott. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jackson Roberts, Jaycek Roberts, Mira McDermott, and Liam McDermott, as well as his sister Donna (Scott) Segin. Rich is also survived by his mother-in-law Dottie Bickel, his sister-in-law Kathy (John) Wright, and his niece Trena Wright. He is also survived by special friends Suzanne Nguyen, Tom Vu and family. Rich is also leaving behind his dog Cheney. Rich was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers Robert (Carol) Jones, Philip (Jean) Jones, and Thomas (Jean Marie) Jones. Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.
