John Jack Earl Meredith

John “Jack” Earl Meredith, 76, gained his angel wings on Saturday, December 09, 2017 at the Coshocton Regional Medical Center and went home with his Lord and Savior. He was born on January 19, 1941 to the late Don and Erma (Lynn) Meredith. On February 14, 1980 he married his soulmate and love of his life Susan (Bradford) Meredith. He was an avid sports fan and supported the local and state teams, the Cleveland Browns, Indians, Cavaliers and the Ohio State Buckeyes. At one time he was also a top bowler. He enjoyed spending time with his cat Rocky.

He is survived by his children, John David Meredith of West Lafayette, Jackie Lynn (Seth Coleman) Meredith of Coshocton, Debbie Dawson of Florida, Bill (Jennifer McClure) Dawson of Indiana and Cathy Dawson of Akron; seven grandchildren, Lindsey, Rebecca, Louisa, Jean, Joe, John and Marco; one great-grandchild, Catherine Ann Dawson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Kelly Jo.

Calling hours will be held at the Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm with the Veterans performing a small service beginning at 7:45 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Sacred Heart Church of Coshocton on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10 am with Father Victor R. Wesolowski officiating. Following cremation a burial will take place at the Dresden Cemetery with military honors performed by the Coshocton County Veterans Council.
