Florence Steffee Reed, 85, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away at Coshocton Hospital on Tuesday, August 09, 2011. She was born in Coshocton Co., Ohio, on August 28, 1925, the daughter of the late Noah and Dora (Laflin) Steffee. She graduated from Union High School in 1943, and was employed at Pretty Products in Coshocton for 16 years, and with her husband for 22 years at Len Reed Painting Contractors. She was a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church. On April 17, 1944, she married Leonard W. Reed, who survives. She is also survived by two grandsons, Jamie Reed and Amie, Ryan Reed and Amber, great granddaughter, Brittany Nicole Reed, and great grandson, Tyler Lee Reed all of Bucyrus, Ohio, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph and Carol Reed of Leetonia, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her son, Dennis Lee Reed. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011, at 1:00pm in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens. There will be no public visitation. Given-Dawson Funeral Home in Coshocton is serving the family.
